If you want to prove it to yourself,
i have heard that you should look in a mirror.
If you are in a Lucid Dream your reflection will be there, and you can possibly talk to it
In and OBE however, there will be no reflection, just a shimmering sort of energy.
Of course if you believe that you are in an OBE while just LDing, you could create a schema by accident and see energy by accident, so try not to predict what will be there.
