help please...

Hi im new to this forum ive been trying to achieve a lucid dream for a few months. last night I did the WBTB woke up for about an hour went back to sleep. then my first dream I had a false awakening I went over to my computer and the screen started morphing that was pretty cool. then I decided to see if I could stick my hand through my other hand that didnt work well then all the sudden my arms went completely invisible. but for some reson reality checks dont seem to have any effect I just keep dreaming. its like I know im dreaming but I dont have full control just yet. I even remember trying to fly off my house fell right on my face lol. but im happy cause I think I am progressing. so if any of you pro’s have any tips I would appreciate it. :shy:

If you knew you were dreaming, you were lucid. If not, then you were extremely close to it.

I think I would call it “semi-lucid” I know im very close but I cannot control my actions.

Generally that’s still called “lucid”. You can call it semi-lucid if you like though.

Well, if you haven’t been trying for very long, we can’t really give tips on how you should improve. Maybe try reality checks? They’re pretty easy.

That incident with the computer screen really sounds like a salvia trip. Fun stuff.

Edit: I must mention that this same thing happened to me a few times before I had a real lucid dream. I would be thinking of what I wanted to be doing, and I would be doing it, but I didn’t really feel it.

It sounds kind of like a fake lucid dream. Which in my opinion is just as good as a semi-lucid dream because it means you are on the right track.

I think that was a fake lucid dream. but the next day I had my first real lucid dream :cool_laugh: only lasted about 15-20 seconds but it was amazing! ive heard salvia can help with lucid dreaming has any one tried it? I have some salvia laying around so im thinking this could be very good
