Help with waking myself up at night w/ autosuggestion

Hey guys. Its been a long time since i’ve had a lucid dream but i’ve recently tried to start up my practice again. previously, i found that the most effective strategy for me was chaining, which involves waking up after a dream and not moving until you drift back into another lucid one.

However my problem is that i very rarely wake up between dreams (or at least that i can remember) and therefore i can’t really chain. Last night i used autosuggestion to set the idea that i’ll wake up after my dreams and i actually had incredible success (i woke up at least 5 or 6 or more times throughout the night) but without a lucid dream because i couldnt remember not to move.

Is there a better way to set intentions to wake up at certain times without alarm clocks than autosuggestion? What do you guys think I should do?

Nothing that really comes to mind, sounds like autosuggestion is working pretty well for you though.

I’m not really familiar with this, what is the significance of not moving?
