This morning my mom woke me up really early, but since I don’t have school in summer, I wen’t back to bed.
I decided to study hypnagogic images (I tried WILD tecnique the last time and wasn’t very succesful). These images were so realistic I thought it was true. It was just like a dream, but I wasn’t sleeping. I tried to gently change something in the picture but it woke me up immediately.
Now, if dreams are taking place in astral and HI are so similar, does that mean thet HI are also just projections on astral?
I find it hard to get all this astral thing, but it’s interesting and would really like to know if I got it right or “oh, so wrong” 
The “astral thing” is an old western occultism theory. In the Middle Ages, people tried to understand why they could “see” thoughts and visualize images, and they supposed that there was a subtle light which was lighting them, and they called it the “astral light”. Thus, in their opinion, dreams, HI, etc. were lighted by this “astral light”.
Of course, this theory is no more believed by current scientists…
Then in the beginning of the XX century, occultists added other notions, like “astral planes”, “astral travel”, which, IMO, are not reconcilable with the initial theory.
But you’re right, if you believe in the “astral theory”, HI are just projections on astral.

Thanks for replying! I heard a lot about astral projection and dreams being projected by our subconsciousness on astral plane, and I guess I took it for granted (I find it very interesting and appealing though )
