I started out with attempting a variation of WILD (which took insanely long, I was feeling clammy in the blanket, so i stopped trying). I had a normal dream, which I wont bother to describe, but I think I might have had the slightest thought of being in a dream.
Next, I either mistook a perfect OBE opportunity for an LD. I did a nose check (since I associate RCs with LDs, not OBEs, I think that’s the reason for my fuddledness), and immediately decided to leap out of the window. I had some trouble ‘getting out’ of bed… This usually happens to me when starting / trying to OBE. It’s like my movement is constricted, making it very hard to get out. So I ended up lapsing into the next dream.
After that, I had a regular LD, but in it I had very little control, and I wish things had proceeded in it differently. Any thoughts about the OBE thing?
Well, often in OBEs, a lot of people will say it’s hard to move while your OBE self is near your dream body. I myself usually cannot see anything when I’m close to my body in an OBE. I’ve also ended up going into an LD or NLD when I had really started the experience as an OBE.
I’m not exactly sure what kind of thoughts you’re asking for, but there’s mine.
What resources / methods are you aware of or try to use to OBE from an LD (or recognize perfect OBE opportunities from LD’s?) Because I’ve had OBE’s, and I’ve had LD’s, and some OBE’s become dreamlike, but I’ve never had an LD become OBE like and I’m curious as to how some people manage it. For all my research (googling, ) I’ve never run across a comprehensive guide on how to do that, just people who say they automatically do. And they just feel/know it. Which. Hrmm… is frustratingly vague.
I’ve OBEd or WILDed within a dream… then woken up and been annoyed at myself. I also have had OBEs turn into dreams, but not the other way around unless you count OBEing in the middle of a dream. Would be interesting to do so, though.
