has anyone felt hot or cold in dreams?
it’s something i can’t recall ever experiancing in a dream, if i’m running around lava, swimming in water or just grabbing an object i never feel what kind of tempature it has.
Im glad you bought this up, because the other night I had a dream that I was falling in this dark bottomless pit, and the further I went down the hotter it got. Needless to say it was a nightmare.
never thought about this before, for me it works that I cant feel temperature at all when I dream 
I never did, but however, I usually feel pain in my dreams 
Ill try to induce a dream in Siberia and see if I can feel the coldness, had been fun to experiment with this 
Temperature isn’t something that I usually think about in dreams…everything is usually in a “comfort zone”. But when I grab something metal, or a similar material, it will sometimes be cool to the touch (or warm depending…but either way never outside a tolerable zone)
I have had at least one or two dreams where the ambient temperature was hot enough to make me constantly sweat, until I went inside. But never felt anything truly COLD nor burning HOT in a dream. Part of that might be due to the fact that I have a high tolerance to both hot and cold IRL. Part is also probably the same psychology as ‘you don’t feel pain in a dream’
A lot of dreams I have, It;s extremely hot in my dreams. Like unbearably. So hot that I go in a freezer and its still very hot. It’s really scary when I get into one of those dreams. I recall one dream when I was in a swimming pool with a rock strapped to me and I was trying to keep from drowning and it made me extremely hot. However, I never feel cold in my dreams.
If its something I expect to be hot or cold (like ice or fire), then yes. The actual temperature of the air around me tends to always be the same, however.
I do dream about hot or cold every time the temperature under my covers isn’t that optimal it can range from the specific sensation of cold or hot, sometimes even making me semi-lucid because I realize it’s my other body feeling that, other times I dream of deserts and ice fields 
i can’t recall ever feeling hot or cold, incidentally i had a dream recently where i went from some metallic room into a huge ice field, it was a repeating dream, so i dreamt the same scene with different details 2 or 3 times, but there was a steel pipe leading into an environment with snowy hills and mountains, but i didn’t feel cold as far as i can remember, then again, i never spent long in those ice fields
The first time I flew in an LD I felt the cool air on me as a flew, but I haven’t experienced it when flying since.
I can’t think of any time that I’ve felt hot or cold, but I know that I have felt many other sensations such as being tickled. 
hrug: I just noticed after reading this that I don’t really feel sensations in my dreams. I really need to work on the vividness of them.
