I read the sticky but couldn’t find any information on how to actually achieve it. Can it just be simply achieved by closing your eyes during SP and just imagine HI or a dream scene?
I also have some trouble with this. I think an important part, besides imagining stuff, is trying as hard as you can to froget about your physical body. If you think about the vibrations or weird/funny feelings or even that you are in SP and want a LD, I think it makes things harder.
I think the main way is to focus on dreaming, SP is simply the body shutting down so as mattias said you should try and ignore the SP, of course that is a big ask in some cases but i think the main points are to
a) dont panic
b) try focus on your mind not your body, you’re there to dream and concentration is paramount for WILD so getting lost in the vibrations may not be the best idea (of course individuals vary etc etc)
I don’t concentrate on my body at all. I just want to know how to enter an OBE or LD from SP.
If you actually are in SP, and I mean like real SP- Like “I-can’t-move-even-if-I-try-my-hardest-SP” then you should be able to enter a dream fairly easy seeing as how your body is asleep and all you need to do is let your mind fall asleep as well. You create a dream environment or picture your bed lifting off the ground and flying up through the ceiling.
All it takes is a bit of imagination and strong intentions.
It might not be as easy and elementary as the sticky says. The point is that in SP you are already aware of being asleep, but you are not in a REM state, therefore there are no dream images and this is the reason for the blackness.
Creating a dream from SP will mean either two things:
- You start a new REM cycle naturally, and dream images will start appearing. If you wait long enough, this will be the case.
- You create a new REM cycle on demand. But I think this is not possible.
