Did you feel completly conscious, and did you think like you do while being awake?? if so, and at the same time really knew that you were dreaming, then i believe you had a lucid dream. Being lucid does not mean that you will automaticly have full control.
Heko a lucid dream means that your waking conscious has recognised itself.
So you know that you dream but you also know that later you will wake up and your normal live will be there waiting for you. Lucid dreaming means just that you are really aware and recognize the fact that you are dreaming.
I too had, in the beginning, a few concerns about this.
In my first two lucid dreams my thoughts were blurred, as was the environment, and I couldn’t really concentrate. But lately I had a very clear Lucid Dream and it felt almost like waking consciousness. I knew exactly that I was in a dream and when the dream faded to black and I woke up I had complete memory of what had just happened in the minutes before.
This is a conversation that has come up many times. Luckily, there’s quite an easy answer:
If you knew you were dreaming, it was a lucid dream. lucid dreaming has nothing to do with control (when I first started LD’ing, I had very bad control).
So… as long as you knew you were dreaming, it was a lucid dream .
I’ve had dreams where I realise it’s a dream, but I’m still not conscious, as in, its not me doing all the stuff that I do in the dream.
This cant be a lucid dream, because if your not lucid, then it cant be an LD…
You realize the fact that you are dreaming + you understand what that means (that you can direct or control it) = a lucid dream.
So if you realize that you are dreaming and have you have some influence over it(no mater how slight) or at least understand that you can/should be able to. Then I would say you had a lucid dream. Also I think you will find lucid much easier to remember than normal dreams.
