Well i was just wondering. I am like obsessed with the dark age medieval era and ive always wanted to make my own sword forging it and all. But the problem is… im way younger than most of you would think… And so ive always wanted to do that and use the anvil and hammer it into shape and stuff but i know thats not ganna happen for a while if i ever do it at all BUT i was just wondering… i have had around 7 lucid dreams now i was just wondering about how realistic it would be if i made a sword in my dream cuz its a little more complicated than most other things…
Sure, why not? I was trying to help fix an airplane this morning and was bending the metal from the broken wing around so it would stay on. I didn’t manage to fix it like I wanted, but I still got it to stay on so the guy could take it home. The DC was amazed. (Wasn’t lucid, was an FLD. I don’t remember considering the fact that I was dreaming.)
I believe it can be very realistic, in my last LD, two days ago I doubted if it was a dream or not, because it looked so realistic, and when I start to checking if it is or not a dream then I was really surprised… So yes, it can be very realistic!
Just don’t be surprised if things feel slightly differently in RL when you try it. This will be based on your expectations on how it feels. Of course, it shouldn’t be too hard to imagine what hitting a piece of metal on an anvil would feel like
If you’re asking how real it will feel, you will see it, touch it, feel its texture, it’s weight, the temperature, feel the pain in your shoulder as you hammer it and the vibrations in your other arm. It wil be exactly like reality, in fact you won’t be able to distinguish it from reality with your senses, only the strangeness of the environment might make the difference.
If you’re asking if it will feel like it is supposed to feel, the answer is that it will feel like you imagine it, not like it really is since you never experienced it. But the experience will be amazing nonetheless, I encourage you to try it.
