How to Start Exploring Astral Travel?

Ahoy!

Well, I’m back from a long absence, and sorry to all who thought I had a drug related death for your worries. Anywho, I’ve more or less achieved a very competent level of recall and lucidity in my dreams, and I’ve decided to take the next big jump. I believe fully in the ability of astral travel and projection, and have touched in to the topic in some of my occult reading. Where should I begin to prepare myself for such an endeavour?

You can do exactly same thing in your lds.Wheter you believe they same as OOBES or not just give it a go.Dont try to “astral project” once youre in ld- just do what youd do in your OOBE.
It may take the thought of returning to your home if thats feels better for a start but thats it.

ps.As you may find out its same frequency and same enviroment- you`re travelling with your mind.LDs are like different radio station and all it takes it to tune in to one you want.

I would think that projecting from a lucid dream, would send you to the mental astral planes, and I dont think thats as fun as going to the physical astral plains. I could be wrong, if I understand it right there are 7 levels of the astral plains.

Physical plane is the one you`re in now.Ones you travel with your mind are astral ones(damn those sanscrit names)- and how far and where you travel in them depends on your readyness/abilities/experience.
On the beginning they are confusing cuz most stuff in them is your own thought created.Once you get better in recognizing what is your own creation and whats not,you go further.All it takes are just tries.
I advice you strongly not to complicate it all with numbers and steps.Just get more and more familiar with the enviroment,keep your eyes open,ask questions ,look for answers.It will all come.
