Hurdle!

Hey all,
In reviewing my LD goals i find i have had some tough times doing things i set out to do. (flying or morphing for example)

What goals have you had trouble overcoming? (going through the mirror? flying? traversing time etc…)
What are your dream hurdles?

c’est la vie

I tried going through the mirror, but everytime i go in, I end up stuck in some grayish space, and then have a FA.

I tried teleporting, no success. I tried spinning around myself, no success. I tried shooting energy balls from my hands. No success.

I also tried going to Valinor. After many trials I managed to fly over an island that looked like Valinor. But I woke up before I could land there.

Now I’m working with telekinesis, coz it seems to be working fine. Once I got it mastered, I’m gonna go back to those failed goals. Flying and morphing, I got those working.

I’ve onloy actually achieved one of my actual ‘goals’ - to increase the length of my LD’s (got it up to around half an hour).

My goals are flying (I try this in pretty much ever LD), walk through walls/mirror and to see dinos.

I still can’t walk through walls, glass or put my hand through mirrors and there’s a lot of other things I haven’t rememberd to try yet. I’d like a change of location too, gets a bit boring when nearly all my LD’s start at home  My ND’s aren’t like that.

I still haven’t found somebody who could look like a dream guide.

Half an hour, if only!!!

Well, I can’t get through walls. When I first heard of lucid dreaming in my research on SP, the first thing I thought I’d do was (no, not “premarital sex” as my friend said when I told him about LDing yesterday) floating or orbiting the planets. I tried to do that the other day and blasted through my house into total blackness and back into my bed, if you will. I woke up. I should check for FA’s from now on though… they might always be one.

Spinning never worked for me to prolong my dreams. It always made me wake up…
Flying was pretty hard, and still is sometimes… but I’m getting better at it
Finding my dream guide was really tough at first… I think I’ve found her, but haven’t yet spoken to her while lucid.
Reaching the Crossroads was also pretty hard, though it’s easier now.
Walking through windows, doors, walls, mirrors and all that has become pretty easy, though mirrors sometimes wake me up…
One thing which was impossible to do while LDing was chopping off all of my limbs with a rusty axe. I sometimes try it to test my level of lucidity, but apart from one arm, I haven’t yet dared to touch my legs… Guess I wasn’t lucid enough yet

I always have trouble achieving my research goals. As soon as I become lucid I immediately think it’s time to play and jump up in the air and start flying. I (almost)always forget about doing my research. Also, I have always wanted to meditate in a lucid dream but every time I do I loose the dream and lucidity.
