I’m so frusterated with my dreaming! A couple weeks ago, my dream recall was fairly vivid, and I was somewhat close to LDing. I would remember 2-3 dreams a night. Then I took a short break from my DJ (only like 4 days, didn’t have enough time to write in it). So now that I’m moticvated, my dream recall is horrible. I couldn’t remember anything from last night!! How can I ease myself back into remebering my dreams? And should I try to LD yet, or try to remeber my dreams again first?
I don’t know if I’m going through a ‘dry spell’ or not…it happened not too long ago and it frusterated me so much! Any tips?
I agree with Wolf. Focus on getting back in sync with recalling dreams, until you get like you were before. Focus on recalling more dreams, as many as you can. The more you remember, the more dream signs you can recognize!
My last dry spell was only about a month ago, but I was frusterated as well. I wanted to dream so bad, then I woke up with a blank mind. And I’d try laying in bed with my eyes closed, after waking up…but I still couldn’t remember anything. I wanted to throw my DJ across the room and set it on fire! lol. just kiddin…kinda.
It’s not really a dryspell, as you took a break with your dream journal. Thus I find it normal that your dream recall went worse. I think you should enhance your dream recall first. It will take you a few days and then it will be at the same level than before.
