Ive had a few lucid dreams, and lately as soon as i realise im dreaming, when im walking around in the dream i can feel my blankets on my skin and the pillow underneath my head, and so then somehow in the dream I convince myself im not lucid dreaming and that i’m actually awake lying on my bed daydreaming. When i wake up its very confusing to find i was actually lucid dreaming. Has anybody else experienced this or have any comments?
Try looking at your hand or another staberlising technique.
Or else ignroe the feeling - it’s actually more likely just part of the dream then yuor actual real life cover.
You felt you’re cover once (not your real cover) in an LD and now expect to feel it every LD and as a result… you do (or rather, think you do).
I agree with Sureal (it IS you, right? ). Try not to expect to feel it the next time you’re lucid. Because, once it’s inside your mind, it’s hard to get rid of the thought and it even becomes obsessive. This increase the feeling and you’ll probably wake up soon.
If you still feel it however, then realize it’s only in your head and it doesn’t have to influence your dream anymore. Get in touch with the dream. Touch some dream objects or rub your hands. Let go the feeling of your blankets and if you stay fully in contact with the dream, the dream will stabilize itself and the feeling disappears.
Good luck
