I can't use an alarm clock, but want to WBTB

I recently decided to try to WBTB combined with MILD. But there’s one problem, I live in my parents house, and I don’t THINK that I will be able to set an alarm clock without pissing them off. What should I do? I think I’m to much of a deep sleeper to wake up by myself.

Do you have a cell phone with alarm clock? You can connect your headset to it!

Try autosuggestion, very powerful thing. Just say to yourself that you will wake up after 6 hours of sleep and that should try, something similar as MILD mantra…

Usually I’m afraid that autosuggestion won’t work, but this morning I gave it a go since I was too lazy to set and alarm and I figured that if it worked, great. If it didn’t, I wouldn’t care too much. Thus, since I went to bed about 21:30 and hoped to be asleep by 22, I told myself I’d wake up at 3.

I ended up waking up once earlier, I think, and not remembering, fell back asleep, and then woke up again about 3:08. Not bad, and it woke me up from a dream I wasn’t particularly enjoying. :content: I’m sure I’d be able to improve it with more practice if I wanted, but I don’t know yet. However, autosuggestion can be a good way to wake yourself up without an alarm with a bit of practice. (My roommate this last year never used an alarm to wake up either, though I use one to wake up when I need to be getting ready.)

I never thought I would have to suggest this, but here I am.

If auto-suggestion and headphones fail, you can also drink much water, so… you know.
