I’ve read alot of toturials about different MILD techniques as the finger one, where you do a fingermoment when u start to feel that your gonna fall asleep (or when i feel that tired, and after ~30 seconds you do a RL… This never succed because i don’t feel when im tired, and whenever i try this I just think after around 30 seconds “this is stupid, i know im not even close to asleep” and when i RL, im awake ofcourse )…
Now here is the problem, i don’t feel that i’m close to falling asleep… It feels like im not tired at all then suddenly I wake up and it’s morning again Or maybe I just dont remember the part between Not tired and waking up…
I wonder, am I the only one who don’t feel when im about to fall asleep`?
Also while doing WILD, I allways fail because im getting so bored and restless that i have to move, i have never failed by falling asleep.

It’s a big differens between Tired and Aware. The way you describes it, it seems as if you are too aware. You think to much about falling asleep which eventually will cause you to simply pass out (Not pass out as in pass out but pass out as in immediate sleep).
I had the same problem when I was 8-9 so this is rather difficult for me to remember but I guess this is simple… All you need to do is get familiar with the different steps of falling asleep, HI, numbness and different feelings.

Well maybe when I try MILD i think too much about falling asleep but i’ve allways felt like this… I can’t remember anytime i’ve felt HI or numbness when im falling asleep normaly (not doing WILD). BTW, is there anywhere i can read about the different steps of falling asleep?
