Basically, I usually try MILD/DILD (the two confuse me on how they are really different ) But I realized something a while ago, and if it turns out I’m hoping it may make it possible for me to do WILD
It seems that whenever I “try” to do Wild, it’s harder for me to fall asleep, but if I wake up and completely ignore it I fall back asleep a littler more easily…so would it be possible to make a compromise between trying to do WILD and going to sleep? Somehow get in between the two, or better yet, to get WILD attempted at the same rate of going to sleep? It seems to me like, every time I wake my mind up, I can’t go to sleep at all for a while, and I’m wondering if there is any solution.
I do this every time I WILD. Takes practice to get a relaxed version of WILD down, but its definatly reachable. Instead of trying to be aware, you just are aware, and so you arn’t up all night trying to WILD. That’s just my experience though. I couldn’t say there are any shortcuts to getting that type of WILD, unless anyone else knows of a way that I am not aware of.
So, don’t focus on anything at all, just sort of try to be in between for a while?
…oh lol, I think I just realized my mistake. I think this is helpful, thanks greatly!
… but I like to think of what I’ll be doing at night, so I guess I’ll have to train that out of me, as that keeps me more awake…
