I cant really remmber what was said, but I made an effort to talk this time instead of flying around. Heres the dream…
Im in my bedroom, and I hear my father in law say that my dog had got out, so I went out to get it, when I get in the livingroom, I see my mother in law throwing my dog in the air, and catching it. Then I go back in the room, and my wife sprays wax in my eyes, and I go to wash it out. I get ready to go back to bed (Im mad because in the dream its 3 am, and I have to go to work the next day) I see these cats jumping around on my bed, and I realize that Im dreaming. I fly out the window, while Im flying I see a DC walking across a field, and I land infront of him. At first I cant talk, it was alot like when you have a OBE, and its hard to talk. I finally was abale to talk, and I asked him where he was going. He said he was walking to the mountains, and something about war, but thats all I remmber him saying. While we are walking, I stop and spin, and then I ask the DC he could hold my hand, to anchor me to the dream. I told him dont let me fade, but I faded any way, and woke up. Next time I talk to a DC, Ill make it an effort to remmber what they say.

i remember talking in my ld once. it was so boring. It was a friend of mine and the things we talked about where just things another friend told me about in RL the day before. It was kind of like talking to myself.
i surpose it only gets easier and better from here.

I also try to remember the dialogues from my LD-s, but my DC-s are sometimes too talkative, so i can recall only some of it. I posted some excerpts from my LD diary and posted them in your other thread about remembering dialogues.
I like how you became lucid when you saw the cat, but not when you got sparyed with wax! 
I dont know what it is about cats, but thats twice Ive dreamed of a cat, and became lucid without even doing a RC
tonight in my dreams I will see a cat and so become lucid

im glad im not the only one here whose first attempts to having a conversation with someone in a lucid dream turned out a bit disappointing.
i went up to my dad and said “hey! cool, youre in my lucid dream, thats nice 
” and then asked him to tell me a story, and i would tell it back to him when i wake up.
unfortunately it was just some story about my little sister about something that never actually happened 
when i told him about the dream he said next time hell think of something better to tell hehe
I had a LD that started in the backyard of my old house. I sat down and meditated, then went into the house. I saw my dad standing at the counter and i went up and started talking to him. His words were just quick gibberish. i walked away and the dream faded.
