i have a serious question

i didnt know if i should put this in here or not. but i have been really dream dry lately. i cannot remember my dreams nor have a feeling when i wake up that i even remotely had a dream. Can somebody please help me? what should i do? or what is going on!

Have you tried vitmen B6, or Melatonin. I dont like to use vB6 as a cruch, but it could help get you started in remmbering your dreams. Allso do some of the excersices in the guid. Goodluck

wake up 30 min before normal, dont sleep for 4 days, Slight Edit :dragon:, sleep lightly, change position ie sleep with your head down the other side of the bed, visualise remember your dreams all the time, positive thinking, wake up slower and try and remember your dreams before you do anything else, wake up then go back to sleep then wake up again

CHILL.

This always happens to me towards the end of a school year: exams, projects, essays, etc. It happens. Stressing usually obliterates any dream recall I normally have.

Still, make sure you’re eating well and getting enough sleep.

I always find in these situations that it’s best not to do anything about it, we all go through dry patches. It’s like little bo peep’s sheep, just leave it be and it’ll come back, wagging it’s tail behind it.

And if it doesn’t come back, hunt it down and kill it.

I agree that pushing too hard for recall, or demanding recall from your subconscious: will probably lead to disappointment.

When I try to improve my recall. I tend to adopt a passive approach, I say to myself that I want to remember my dreams, a couple of times. One of the best times to do it is before bed, but saying at random times too, seems to improve how well it works for me. I don’t think these thoughts like a mantra; it’s more like dwelling on the thought of how improved recall would make me feel good. If my recall improves I make sure to take time to enjoy it. (Often starting an upwards spiral ) If it doesn’t then I repeat what I wanted to do, but maintain a relaxed attitude towards it. I have the rest of my life for my recall to improve, the only thing likely to prevent you recalling a dream, is getting so upset about not recalling, that you give up trying.

Drink some milk and eat some cheese before bed. It does WONDERS for dream recall

I have also a had a dry patch recently. I had a very wierd dream last night but it wasnt lucid, nor do I remember it very much.
