When i was dreaming tonight, i had a dream about someone getting buried.
The were carying him along a road, there was water on both sides.
then, there was thin beutifull, sad music, the one that would make you cry by just listening to it, it were a chorus, with light voiced men that were singing in an church like way, very dark, and the music was undescribable.
so i have come to this forum to ask any of you, is there any way i can have that dream again, i have tried to repeat to my self “have that dream” and stuff, but it don’t work, anyone?

Wow yeah i had a similar dream where a group of people were walking through a shopping mall and chanting/meledonising the words “Hoenahma” in a really beautifull at the time
One of the times, a man’s voice was singing the words “sleep with your circus pants on” to a rather catchy melody. I noted down the melody and lyrics right away, although somehow I think a song with that title would NEVER sell.
A few nights later, I had a dream with a simple melody and chords, without memorable lyrics. I wrote that one down, too, although I think it might actually be part of a real song by the Beatles or a similar group. I’m not too well-versed (no pun intended) in such music, but this one seemed familiar.
One of the main things I want to do once I become proficient at consistently having LDs is create a DC who will write beautiful music for me and play it for me, chord by chord, note by note, so I can transcribe a few bars every night. I’ll tell him to work on the piece 24-7 till it’s complete and keep giving me a few bars every night. That’s not really cheating at the composition process, since it’s still my brain that will be doing the composing…
Thats happenned too me, It was some violin playing, but it wasnt pleasent it was terrifying, as soon as I heard it i began too have a nightmare, it was actually the scariest nightmare ive ever had, the music was like something out of a crazy horror film.
I finally have something to say in response to this topic! Last night, as I was waking up, I heard an older woman singing a song that sounded beautiful at the time, and the lyrics were something like, “Spring…time…and Isis returns.” When I first woke up, it was still fresh in my head, then faded as the day progressed. The strange thing is, I took a nap this afternoon and when I woke up, I remembered how the melody went again. The dream didn’t happen again, the melody just returned after being asleep. Once again, though, it faded and I can’t remember how it sounded.
mm beautiful music in dreams. one time i was getting chased in a dream, by neo from the matrix. he was flying around chasing me. i did a reality check when i saw him flying and turns out i was dreaming.
i had read you can ask these types of dream characters for a gift, people chasing you/nightmare type figures. so i asked him for a gift and he gave me this dark brown wooden box, beautifully carved with beautiful patterns all over it. i pressed a part of it and music started playing.

Always, always, ALWAYS write down any music you hear in a dream. It may blossom into a fully-developed musical idea. If you can’t write music notation…well, either learn how or find someone who can.
