I hope my dreams give me another chance...

I have a bad habbit of neglecting my dreams, and sence Ive been practacing LDs off, and on for the past year it feels like it gets harder to get back into LDing each time. One of the sadest dreams Ive had was ND about LDing. I was at some LD school, and I got mad, and walked out. I hate that feeling when you have something great, but then you loose it because of neglect, and its like saying… “Hey you had a chance, but you blew it” Thats one of the worst feelings in the world. Im great at LDing If I could just stick to it. Oh well… Im sorry dreams, give one more chance… Please!!!

I can sympathy with that!

I tend to start things and then not bring them to an end / not keep practising, too.

I’m usually very careful about analysing dreams, but your ND certainly seemed to pick up that problem. Do you remember why you got mad? Was there a way to get back into the LD school? Did you want to?

In my experiences: Subjects that we have neglected are a lot like friends (or if you prefer a spiritual analogy: deities). They don’t like it, and they will be suspicious and resentful for a while, and it will take quite some time and attention to overcome that. But it can always be overcome.

And: learning something we’ve learned before and forgotten is easier than learning the same thing for the first time.

On the basis of no scientific knowledge about dreams whatsoever, I’d suspect that there is no reason why you shouldn’t learn to LD again. Unless of course you manage to convince your sub-consciousness that you don’t deserve to LD ever again - in that case, I could imagine some difficulties.

Wishing you luck! :ok:

Hey Kavaa…I hear ya.

But really it’s up to you to get back into gear. Do you keep a dream journal? Have you just been inconsistent with it?

Go out and buy a brand new one - that will program your brain with the intention that you are serious about getting back into LD. Then just be consistent with keeping track of your dreams and your dreams should give you another chance.
