ah okay, yeah it’s not good to smoke it if you know you’ll have a job interview soon, but it’s kind of unreasonable to have to stop doing it before you apply for a job, do they ask you to stop watching tv, playing games, eating fast food, getting addicted to ever quest, etc?

since we’re speaking of cops, rule #1 = play it cool and never consent to a search, make them get a warrant, don’t let them in your house, don’t break traffic laws if you have something to conceal…

just say “Under the advice of my family lawyer I am not supposed to consent to unwarranted police searches” and if they start insinuating things just be like “I just think it’s a violation of my privacy, what grounds do you have to want to search me?”

they might say they’ll go easy on you, but… that’s not always true, the best bet is to say no… and don’t smoke while driving… should be common sense… but… people seem to do that for some reason.

Really, I don’t see why you use the excuse of living in America being a reason you can’t get drugs. Every drug on the face of the planet is in this country …
Some sleep related drugs you see mentioned here such as “Melatonin” are legal in America but Illegal in Australia and other “progressed” nations. Have you ever heard anything about Norway? St. John’s Wart is banned there!! That is an herbal anti-depressant that doesn’t offer a high, but helps depression safely and naturally. … but it seems everything is banned in Norway.
I have no idea why so many natural growing plants could be banned anywhere.

I would have to agree with DA on that one. I don’t use drugs but that is just by choice. Believe me, if I wanted to use them, the fact that they are illegal would not stop me.

Damn if I didnt smoke or drink my life would be soooo dull… and the thing is I didnt even know my life was dull untill I started smoking weed. marijuana has changed my whole life last year I was a goody goody i never did any thing wrong fast forward to a year later and im the complete opposite. it has helped me mature alot I look at life in a whole differant and better way. the only side effect I dont like about weed is I have really bad short term memory :sad:

since you didn’t smoke it habitually it doesn’t stay in your system as long, i’ve passed when i was in your situation before, drinking lots of water sometimes can give it away, if your urine is very deluted they check for that, so i suggest not drinking to much water. If there is a tiny tiny bit they assume you walked in the room when one of your friends where smoking walked by and got it in your system, second hand smoke or something, unless theres enough in you, you can pass. I wouldn’t sweat it, it’s just weed…it’s not like your going down for heroin or narcotics or coke or anything. if I could I’d send you some urine(in a sterilized cup of course like they make u pee in at the place) but uhh…you’d be worse off then you already are. I’d just forget about it, maybe drink some more water but like drink a lot now and then a normal amount until the test so it’s not diluted as much.

still, it’s not that I can’t get them, just i can’t use them right now, but the problem is you know, the penalties are so SEVERE, they are naziesque, there is no such thing as “decriminalizaton” where I live, either the cops aren’t assholes and will give you a warning, or you’re ■■■■■■■

it’s not really much of an issue at all, i don’t think, esp in a college town i don’t think the cops care what you do in your own place… but yeah, you know, the laws are pretty uptight.

Oh shit man! my friend just got caught the other day in school for having a pipe and about a half-ounce of weed. but he’s only 15. so what do you think they will do? he’s not old enough to go to jail and I dont think they would send him to juvy… I hope not.

you get way stiffer penalties for having it on school grounds… but i would think they would give him some leniancy… for you first offense you get drug probation, anyway, at least out here.

a pipe will be considered parahenallia and may impose hefty fines…

he’s fuked either way but he’d might as well see if he can get a lawyer for free or something, does his family have legal care by any chance?

Damn that sucks… well does your school have a ROTC program? a lot of the time, they will make him enroll in that… that is all i know of though.

And as for the drug test… since you didn’t smoke it habitually, traces of THC will be gone in about 2-3 days. don’t sweat it. Good luck with your test man.

One thing you can do is to get a urine cleansers which you can get at smoke shops, i don’t really know how it works, but if there is nobody watching you give the your sample. It can be helpful.

Everyone has their own opinion about that. While I am not an advocate of drug use I try not to impose my beliefs on others. However, I will tell you one thing, the drugs doctors hand out scare me a lot more than marijuana.

I don’t object to the concept of drug taking; I can’t see how anyone has the right to dictate what someone does to their own body. However, what I do think is immoral is what the buying of drugs funds.

A lot of my friends are stoners, and most of them are also anti-capitalist, anti-consumerist, they go on about big corporations making money of the poor and the unforunate. Fine by me, I agree with them on this. They actively boycott Nestle and moan about those who buy their products because of their marketing of baby milk in third world countries
that allegedly leads to the deaths of millions of infants. A cause with which I completely agree. The consistency of their values seems to break down however when it comes to the drugs which they buy.

They may buy off of their local dealers who are (relatively) harmless but if you trace it back far enough these drugs come from the big boys who make millions off of them. These are not nice people. These are the same people who are involved in weapons smuggling and prostituion. Not that there’s inherently anything wrong with prostitution either, but the girls they are pimping aren’t ones who have thought about their career options and have decided they can make more money selling their bodies and are fine with this. These girls tend to be junkies and coke addicts who have no options to get enough money for the drug(s) they are hooked on. They seemingly have no objection to funding these people even though they refuse to fund companies such as Nestle and Walmart.

Some marijuana may be grown in people’s homes, but most of it comes from huge fields grown by drug lords who also have industries devoted to other harder drugs. A figure I heard recently which staggered me is that 10 percent of the population of Afghanistan is involved in growing/picking poppies for the production of opium, making a pittance for their labours but the big drug barons profit hugely. Many people I know who advocate the use of drugs take great care to choose fair trade products because they don’t believe that a big company should be making such a profit by paying it’s workers next to nothing. They apparently have no problem with funding these guys though.

Everyone’s heard stories of 9-10 year old girls being used to smuggle drugs past airport security, and then dying from an overdose when a condom full of heroin resting in their bowels splits.

Who is it that profits from the deaths and suffering and poverty of all these people? The big drug lords. Who is it that funds them? The people that buy their drugs. If drugs were legalized, these problems might change, but they haven’t been. Until such a day, these people can continue reaping their profits so long as people are willing to buy the drugs they grow and manufacture.

Basicly, don’t stop drinking water. You need to have, to use the expression, urine pooring otu your ears. Although don’t force yourself to drink. Just make sure your stomach is constantly topped up, and that you go to the toilet regularly. Take Vitamin B to recolour your urine, and you would be ok.

Well that can work but, depending on how the test was done that too may raise some flags. If the test is done properly they can detect the um “watered down” sample. However, that at least leaves you with reasonable doubt where as turning up positive leaves no doubt at all.

i don’t know about big fancy drugs but i would be hard pressed to believe that if i went out and bought weed right now, that it was grown in mexico by drug lords, it just seems like it’s sort of a college kid type operation, grow your own, deal it, etc… i know a guy who knows a guy who grows, let me hook you up with him, etc, etc, etc.

if cops cared about the world’s problems at all they’d leave the personal growers alone, it’s safe, unlike meth labs, it stops funding “terrorism” and “drug lords” and “organized crime” but you know what, then the government can’t make all their drug seizure money.

FYI, the DEA can go into any country they want and do all sorts of shady business under the premise of targetting “drugs”… or so i’ve read.

I completely agree with you on that one. We have millions of people in prison on drug related charges. Clearly making them illegal does not stop people from using them.

However, even if you did make them legal. That still would not change the fact that the profits would still go to the big drug cartels and to terrorists.
