Haha, I did say that kind of weird, didn’t I. Nope, I was sleepwalking. Either that or I was in that half-awake, half-asleep state that you don’t remember.
I can only recall one time I ever sleep walked (I don’t know how to say it in the past tense). I thought my cousin was over, sleeping in another room with my brothers. I got out of bed with my small blanket, went into their room, layed down on the floor and tried to get comfortable, which was hard. A few minutes later I snapped out of it and went back to bed. I didn’t think about how weird it was until I woke up in the morning.
I always wondered before that what sleep walking was like. You see everything just how it is, but you’re not thinking properly. That’s at least how it was for me. My brother also used to sleep walk a lot, and he’d always have his eyes open. So I think people sleep walking can make their way down stairs.
As for making it stop, all I can think of is to get a good night of sleep every night, and keep a regular sleep pattern. I’ve read that it’s normal for kids from the age of 5 to 15 to sleep walk, so if you’re within that age range you’ll probably grow out of it.
That is the past tense. If you wanted to say the past tense of to sleep, you would say “slept” I think. Or is it sleeped?
Well if that was what sleep walking is, then I’ve done it. That insedent I descibed earlier would exactly match your descritption of sleep walking. Funnly enough, I was awake,m I knew it was stupid to throw a plane out of the window, yet I did it, as though it was nessasary.
Im 15. people have started talking about it when I was … 12 I think …
(btw m sorry I took this long to answer )
i don’t know that their eyes are necessarily closed at all… you can dream/sleep with your eyes open…
but think about it, if you have stairs you go up and down them so much that it’s natural… just revisiting those neural pathways is all.
i once got up and pissed in a dixie cup while sleep walking as a child… i sort of remember it, vaguely… only mainly becuase my dad told me about it the next day… but… i think i was dreaming about camping or something.
i don’t know.
i have some weird memory that happened a month or two ago, it doesn’t make much sense but I remember thinking about it and wondering if I was sleep walking or not.
one time I think I could hear myself talking in my sleep… and one time my brother woke up crying (he was like 4 or 5) while i had just started to fall asleep and dream about a black roller coaster and i yelled at him and was like “nick, it’s only a roller coaster” then like 15 minutes later I realized what I said and how stupid it was.
that’s about all I can think of… but unless you’re really young or really old, doing things in your sleep is pretty abnormal.
and i’d be concerned if you have a pool… or if you dream about flying and live in a two story house or a highrise apartment or something
man… if i sleptwalk while lucid i’d probably be dead by now… or in jail.
I was sleepwalking and i peed in the garbage can, its not as bad as a fan. I also talk in my sleep. My question, is when i am talking in my sleep. Will i be saying the things that i would say in my lucid dreams. lets say there are certain things that i wouldnt want people to hear.
i wonder that too
soemtimes i think when i sing lucidly i sing in real life… becuase i’ll sound like who i want to sound like… then all of a sudden it’ll be hard to sing and i’ll sound weird
and i think that might mean it’s because i’ve activated my real voice.
my friend said something to me about something on our band trip once… i’m realy not sure what… maybe about me making weird noises… or maybe i’m just imagining it…
i seem to recall that though, now…
maybe it was just a dream though.
