I’ve been doing about 10-20 RCs every day for the last week maybe, and it gave me some pretty vivid dreams but no LDs.Yesterday, though, I did maybe 2. At night, I tried doing a technique but I was too tired to focus. So I said “The next scene will be a dream. The next time I dream, I will realize I am dreaming,” a few times went to sleep normally. I had a great and long second lucid dream!
Something similar happened with my first lucid dream. I did many RCs before but didn’t try very hard one day. At night, I probably fell asleep faster than I ever have before. “I should probably do a technique-” And I had my first LD, a short one where I didn’t get to do anything before it ended.
So I’m gonna try MILD tonight with a few RCs instead of my usual and lots of RCs. Hopefully it works. I’m trying not to be too excited, because that’s what ends my dreams and prevents LDs for me. Wish me luck.
This happened to me too. You first do many RC’s and only after some time of doing them you get a LD. So, you do RC’s but only when you stop doing them you get a LD. But in order for that to happen, you have to do them for some time first.
I wish you luck !
that’s a great technique. I’m going to try it too! lots of love and luck!
Sounds kind of like CAT to me. Your body gets so used to preforming so many RC’s a day that on days when you only do a few your mind reminds you to do them while you happen to be sleeping. Can be an effective method, though as soon as your mind breaks the habit of doing so many RC’s (or gets used to doing fewer RC’s altogether), you may find that you’re not remembering to RC in your dreams as often as you were before. That isn’t to say it’s not effective, because it is (in moderation), my recomendation would simply be to work more on MILD or WILD (or whatever other technique you prefer) and be careful you don’t accidentally make fewer RC’s into a habit.
