NOTE: Bear with me for the rest of this post. It sounds weird, but… just consider it.
Not a vegetable. I just can’t move or anything, apparently. My friend has been trying to contact me in my sleep, with little success. She has made it as far as finding me, and trying to wake me, but evidently “it was like trying to talk to someone in a soundproof room”. I have only the slightest memory of her telling me that she tried, but I wouldn’t wake up. I’m certain this memory is from a dream, and she says she may have said something like that.
So, how can I be more aware of my surroundings in the dream, so she can help get my attention?
No, I mean, how can I help myself wake up while my friend (who is sharing my dream, if you will) is trying to wake me up in the dream. To her, I’m just standing there.
Sorry. I didn’t understand. I believed she was trying to wake you up IRL.
Do you remember to have seen her in your dreams? If it’s the case, you could perform RC’s when you see her IRL, so that when you see her in a dream, you’ll make a RC too and become more aware of what happens.
I have to agree with Nice Dream here. If in fact it is a shared dream then your buddy needs to do something to get your attention otherwise, you’re just a DC.
Mindule: Are you guys keeping record of this? What kind’s of things are you doing to prepare for this? I’d be interested in knowing, sounds interesting and would be great to share with everyone your results.
Currently we’ve discontinued the “Her trying to find me” experiment since she seemed to have had some bad hallucinations the last dream she tried to get to me. So, now it’s “Me trying to find her.” Since I’m still a novice at this… no luck yet… I need to practice lucid dreaming more before attempting something like that
I got some weird hallucinations the second day I’ve tryied it, you get frightened at first but you have a long time until getting to sleep to calm down and try again! hehe
(you may call me crazy, but don’t be frightened about your mind powers!)
