Hi lucid dreamers! I’m new to the site and have some questions. My friend told me about the site and got me interested in this type of dreaming.

My first question is: What kind of tecniques are out there to get your first LD? I think I’ve had a half-LD, but I’m not sure.

My second question is: Is this against any religions? I’m Catholic and I can’t do anything with magic or stuff like that.

That’s about all of the questions I have. If you have any advice for me that would be helpful, please reply. :cool_laugh:

I am a practicing catholic and there is nothing sinful about LDing. But you may just choose not to do certain things in LDs. :smile:

I am about 99% sure that it isn’t against any mainstream religion. There might be some anti-LD cults or something out there, but I’d say your’e safe, as it happens naturally, and you’re just developing that aspect of your natural mind.

You can’t do magic???, you couldn’t take a rabbit out of a hat??, bad luck…
I am against the church, couse they are always between the problem (not against god, I’m not atheist either), but I think that you must choose your own decisions, and not your religion, I don’t think LDs has anything bad to be considered as anti-catholic or something.
And about tecniques there are plenty of them, WILD, MILD, DILD…PILD?, just put any consonant before ILD and you have a tecnique, hehe.

Sourcery (which the Bible is against) regards an influence of external energy (or… something like that).

LD’ing is all internal. It’s just dreams. Nothing is material, and so nothing you do is against the Church.

I don’t think that LD’ing is against your religion. It doesn’t have to do with magic or horoscopes or anything like that. And dream signs aren’t sacriligious, they just appear in your dreams to make you realize you are dreaming. I’m going to be catholic too…(hoping to enroll in CCD classes soon :happy: )

Though however, YOU control lucid dreams. Some people do some not-so-christian-like things in them…like killing your enemies and whatnot. But I don’t find lucid dreaming in itself sacrililigious. Hope I helped! :smile:

Try listening to relaxing type music through headphones while going to sleep, and think on your 3rd eye area, while trying to visualize.

Go steady with religion and focus more on common sense, though common sense not so common, haha.
