Important dream to share with everyone!

OK I promised to post this last night but just didn’t get to it. So I apologize for that. This dream came with sense of importance and that I should share it. I think it may help someone here develop another Lucid Dream method, or provide some sort of clue:

This dream came after I did the “close the right nostril…” technique and as in the process of WILD while falling asleep. It culminating in a break of the 4 week block I’ve had from Lucid Dreaming, and my very first OBE or dream of an OBE - I called it “Body Swapping from WILD” and that thread is here:
[Body Hopping from WILD?)

So a number of unique, first time experiences for me and a breakthrough came with these dreams.
In the dream I’m in my room and I see a black picture with a dim, partial moon superimposed on it. I hear words, something like, “No Lucidity, Partial Lucidity, (Full) Lucidity.” At “No Lucidity” the image is black. At “Full Lucidity” you see the partial dim moon. I recall walking past the images, as though they were suspended above my sleeping body, and seeing they were in layers. So the partial moon would be one of the layers, the black screen another, but I think there were three layers in all, one between the black screen and partial moon.

In my journal I say, “I guess I fall asleep” but as I am pretty sure I was asleep this seems strange. I could have had an OBE with the images and then transitioned to a dream state. Just theorizing here. Anyhow there was the rushing, sinking sensation after I saw the partial moon.I felt myself sink down and rush out of my own body at the realization I was Lucid.

Then it gets weirder. I feel my real right physical eye literally pop open, just before I’m about to leave the room and go exploring. I remember asking myself why, if I’m truly Lucid, aren’t things more detailed?

Now I still feel as if I’m sinking, my whole body vibrates and I hear a noise, something like a shrill whistling tea kettle and a large truck or something driving by. The noise fades.

I open my eyes thinking I WILDed without knowing it.I lay perfectly still. I was sure I was in SP. But I found I could move around. I swallowed, not really a reflex, I did it because my mouth was dry. Then I decided to wake up.
The important thing here is the moon image and the words. For some reason that moon is a… I get all these thoughts, feelings and impressions but the best words seem to be “Power Symbol.” I think this moon, these layered images and the words which correspond to them, are the key to a very powerful Lucid Dream method, or perhaps something even more powerful than that. I feel this, even now days later. I see it, even now. I can’t describe the sense of power emanating from it.

So tonight, as you drift off to sleep, picture a black screen in your mind. Just before you go to sleep picture a partial, or gibbous, moon. We have all seen this so we all know what it looks like. Picture it dim, glowing only slightly. As you go to sleep think about and focus on that moon. Post your results here.

Later!

Just about to attempt wild will post some results soon

I was reading David Lynch’s book, “Catching The Big Fish” and in it he describes a white room with green, yellow and red curtains on the wall. Something like that. He sees this when he’s about to “dive.” I guess this is when he does Transcendental Meditation. Anyhow the spaces in between the curtains and the (window or wall) is where he can slip through into the Universal Field. As I read that I understood a little more about my Power Symbol.

The three-layered moon is a Power Symbol because it’s universal. You can see a room in your mind’s eye with the curtains, but you won’t see it the same way Lynch does. Are your curtains the exact same shade of each color? The same design? The same length? Are the walls in your room the same shade of white? Detailed in the same way? His serves the same purpose as my Power Symbol, but it has less power because not everyone can see his room the way he does. However we all see the moon exactly the same way way.

The three layers correspond to the three stages of consciousness: Waking, Sleeping, Dreaming. You could see this as the consciousness is awake (black screen, can’t see the moon), the consciousness is in an in-between state as the subconscious begins to take over (the layer of nothingness where you can see the black screen and the moon), and the subconscious state (the moon, can’t see the black screen). The layer in between the moon and the black screen is a layer of nothingness. That’s because its a gate, a portal, to the Universal Field. It’s a stage in between waking and dreaming. This Power Symbol may even prove useful for some methods of Astral Projection.

The moon is a partial moon in my case possible because it also represents the power of my subconscious mind either at that time or in general. So if you have a powerful subconscious mind, and you would probably be someone who has a lot of Lucid Dreams and maybe even has Astral Projected, your moon would be full and bright. If you have never had a Lucid Dream and have only started recording your dreams your moon would be a sliver.

What are your thoughts?
