First of all, sorry for my english. I’m still learning it!
I’m developing a technique for inducing an OBE. Basic steps:
1.Become lucid.
2.Travel to a new location where you can find an ELEVATOR (for example, in a skyscraper).
3.Go inside the elevator, push the top button and lay down the DB.
4.Try to feel the ascending movement.
5.Resolve to wake up when the DB reach the last floor and exit from the elevator. In that point, you’ll find probabilly in the middle of an OBE.
(It’s an adaptation of the dream control technique of Sylvan Mulddon’s “The Projection of the Astral Body”)
At the moment, I have some problem in traveling to a new scene but I hope to resolve this soon.
Is there someone that has tried something similar? Do you thing that’s a good idea?
No reason to apologise for your english - i’ve seen worse english from native speakers!
I’ve not been trying anything involving OBE’s yet (probably because i want to manage some regular LD’s first) but i’m sure going to give your technique a try.
I think its not good idea since i dont think obes are different than lds.Instead of doing this all you plan to have an obe just be in one.Do stuff you would do and all effort id make would be changing the location if the one i was lucid in wasnt the one i want.Ive heard plenty of people who wished they did it from beginning instead of trying to have out of body experience while actually allready having one.
just an advice.
I think it is a good idea but I can’t see how that when your asleep and become lucid that you would be able to extend yourself out of your body. Wouldn’t it be dark in your room anyway if you were sleeping.
my friend once told me of a way of finding out about my past and future by IRL concentrating (the best time paradoxial is when your on the toilet)(the vision you will see could be what could be classed as a daydream, but you should stay relaxed and not let any other thoughts distract you) on entering an elevator in a building and choosing a number to go to and when you step out you entering a room and the person or thing in the room will tell you something about yourself that will happen according to the floor you got off on.
I have tried it about 10times and had a couple of times the information was worth it and helped though, it doesn’t always work and also you might feel like your making up the story or scene yourself, my friend said this is normal.
I am not sure whether this is helpful for the theme of this post but when i read it this information arose as it had a connection with what you were saying

Unless you`re having long, stable and often lds this is A LOT to accomplish. You`re propably going to use quite many lds to finally realize such plan while in my opinion you simply dont need to do it if your target is oobe.I suggested to cut it only to your point no.1- have ld.
Its because i dont think oobes are different than lds.Sure they can feel different, start in different places, so on…but in the end its basically same thing- out of body experience- youre allready there. My advice was to simply enjoy it and do exactly same things youd do if u were in oobe.
good luck:)
Yes, I agree with you, it’s difficult but not impossible. I’ve been “suffering” SP since 18 years old and I know that both experiences are entirely different. I think that probabily SP’s are the beginning of an OBE and I just want to explore that possibility.
Thats ok:) Not to change your beliefs, just note that SP occurs allways. We often dont feel it happening but it is body function- shutting connections between brain and muscles.
But i understand where you`re coming from- i also experienced SP on few occasions and ended up in OOBE so i automatically assumed like you did.But after some more lds/obes i must have agreed on them to be same. You might find it out too,you might not…it goes different ways- anyways keep it going and good luck on your quest:)
Maybe we are using same names for different experiences: in my case, SP and LD are as different as LD an the real world. That’s the only thing that I certainly know about this stuff.
