last night i had was dreaming and i ‘dreamt?’ that i got up out of bed and stood at my window. I then willed my self through the window to a point outside my window in a field. (i should say i wasn’t in human form, i was just energy)
but as i floated through the window towards the point i felt my self get pulled back into the room and shortly thereafter woke up.

was just wondering if anyone else experience a similar thing and whether it was a type of OBE or something else.
Again i’m really not sure whether it was a dream of an OBE or an actual OBE.
I was dreaming (i’m one of those who 80% of the times remembers their dream as they are actually happening like watching a 1st person movie) and as the dream ended i felt my real body, i could feel my mind changing slightly from dream state to a most conscious waking state (these sensations were amazing)
Then i felt something else, kind of like being every where at one time then as this feeling faded as quickly as it came i opened my eyes and saw myself hovering above me in the exact same possition, a bit like a ghostly mirror version of myself and it was slowly falling INto me. I then sat up in bed thinking to myself (this might be some type of OBE) and checked my bed to see if i could see my self still laying there. I looked to my window and around the room the time on my sterio system said 4:30am.
I then laid down and woke up for real. interestingly the possition of my body on waking was the same possition as i was laying during the OBEish thing. (if you wondering the real time was just after 11am.)
Yeah, there are two types of OBE which I call it… highly smart lucid dream and actual OBE. In both case, they’re fun and benefitful. Lately, I have been using WILD and OBE method to enter into my lucid dreams, which works very well for me.
Speaking of OBE, I had one OBE that I will never forget. I fall asleep after my alarm went off. It was around 5:30 AM. I fell asleep and I went out of body. I traveled and then all of a sudden, I heard a voice from behind that said, “Did you know that you just think of a place and then there you are?” It scared me and I thought I slept in because it felt like it lasted for one hour. That feeling snapped me back in my body. I woke up, thinking I had slept in, but only five minutes had passed! Yep, EXACT FIVE MINUTES! I am serious! I felt extremely refreshed that I got up immediately (felt like I slept for extra 10 hours).
That OBE sounds cool. something I would not be prepared for yet though. thanks for sharing that. It really opens your mind and makes you see there is such a large world out there to explore.
my boyfriend, scott, isn’t really a lucid dreamer he’s something a bit different. he dreams, just like anyone else, but he only remembers 2 types of dreams. Nightmares, and what he calls ‘memmories of the future’
he’ll have a dream, and then anywhere between a week or, i think the longest one was six years, from when he had the dream untill what he drempt about happened. exactly how he dreamed it. it’s really odd. has anyone ever heard about this stuff before?
(i gave up on trying to type it right, im to tired)
oh, and on topic a little for this string, he says he used to have OOB experiences when he thought he was asleep, when he was younger
