I posted this on another forum, btw, I’m not plagiarising someone’s dream
I had an odd dream last night. North Korea had had declared nuclear war on the US, and everyone had to be evacuated to a shelter. It was a very hot day and the sun was bright. Well, because I would be off to a shelter, I wouldn’t get to see my friends. I was going to be evacuated, and I saw my second best friend going to be evacuated as well. I wouldn’t get to see her, so I had to say what may have been my last goodbye.
So I called her name and asked for a hug. It took a bit of persuasion but she ended up giving me a big hug, and nearly cracked a rib. And that was goodbye. Then I was walking at the shelter, and there were massive nuclear bombs all over the place, and I saw my best friend for what would probably be the last time.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to talk to her because I had to go to my part of the shelter, which was far away from her part. I remember a sense of utter terror. Then I woke up, with a horrible sore throat.
Well, I might suggest a few interpretations, but I can’t, just like any other human which is not you, tell you what the dream means. You alone can understand its meaning - since only you know as much about yourself.
I can thing of a number of ways to look at this dream; Mostly depending on wether you believe in fortelling the future. Provided that it wasn’t one, though:
North Korea declars war on the US - It might mean that a group of ethnic minority is taking over your hometown, though I think its rather far-fetched. Probably just a “random” disaster, based on warnings that happen once in a while IRL. If you play videogames - Fallout 3 could have caused it. The sun could mean that you were burdened - just a negative feeling in the dream, and nothing special other than that.
Persuading your friend, and her nearly-rib-braking hug might’ve been caused by a small fight or detoriation in friendship with her. Could as well mean she cares much about you, and depends entirely on what type of person she is - gentle or robust (at that order). Your best friend being away - and the feeling of utter terror are probably caused by being afraid to lose her.
About your throat - Well, it happens after saddening dreams quite often.
If however, you do think it might be “prophetic”, the war could be intepreted as just a war between US and an asian nation, the fact that you don’t see your friends might mean you will fear for them (If your second’s best is a nurse or a doctor, she might be sent there etc…) and the hug she gives you might be your last touch. The nukes on the shleter could be just a mess up - or a note of the governments’ lack of care for citizens. The parting with your best friend might mean she’ll be moving. And finally, the sense of terror might mean someone will die.
Those are just suggestions, though - And I must admit some of the “prophetic” ones are a bit far fetched. Hope I didn’t chew your head off… Use at your own risk.
