I was just wondering when you enter your lucid dreams, is it more realistic feeling than just a normal dream? Was just wondering since your mind becomes conscious during a LD.
It’s a fantastic feeling in a LD.
It should feel the same or better than normal dreams. Everything feels solid and real although you know it’s just a dream
Actually, I’ve had some ND’s that were very vivid, and one LD that was so “misty” that it felt like a daydream-fantasy, even if I rubbed my hands (supposed to be a dream trick that makes the dream more vivid.)
Well I just wanted to know so maybe I would recognize it easier or something. I just started last night so Im still going for my first one tonight. Hopefully i will be able to have one tonight even if it is just a 10 sec one so that way i know what kinda its like.
lol first time that i cant wait to go to sleep lol, right now im just trying to make myself more tired so it will be easier and what not.
Wish me luck
good luck! you must be sleeping by now. sends lucid vibes
Well I wasn’t able to get lucid, I tried the MILD technique, laid there for awhile reciting “I am dreaming and I will know that Im dreaming”. After awhile it felt like my arms especially my hands started to feel numb. I don’t know if that was from laying in the same spot for awhile or what. Sometime it felt like my mind was trying to enter a LD but it never happened.
I think last night what my problem was is that I wanted it too much. I was trying not to think about wanting it too much but couldn’t help it. But I will try again tonight!
Also one cool thing did happen. While I was laying there and reciting that mantra I was also remembering of a dream I had about a baseball game, and I did have a dream about a baseball game last night so I believe that part worked and I think I gave up too early.
some of them are very real and some of them are not , it depends on how deep the sleep is !
Lucid dreams for me are ALOT more vivid, and realistic than normal dreams. Also… the feeling you get when lucid dreaming… it’s hard to explain but it’s like knowing you can do ANYTHING you want, without worries, or consequences.
When ever I have a LD at first it’s hard to believe it’s a LD because everything seems SO normal (even if it’s not). It feels JUST like RL, like right now me typing to you. Always do a RC even when you think there is no way you are LDing. When you realize it’s a LD you will be amazed at how real and detailed everything is such a feeling of freedom and endless possibilities. Sweet Dreams!
I almost envy you David83. The feeling that you’re going to get when you become lucid for the first time is simply unexplainable. Realizing that you are witnessing your imagination in real-time and being able to literally do anything that you want is without a doubt one of the most euphoric experiences that I have personally ever felt. And holy hell, there is nothing more amazing than taking off and flying around in the sky. Everything looks, feels, smells, and sounds entirely real. Hell, you can even go eat food and it tastes even better than what it should. It’s quite literally like being jacked into the Matrix, except this time you don’t die, heh.
Let us know what happens! Have fun!!
Of course it is sometimes I get very vivid LD’s that feel far more real than RL
I think the “reality” in dreams is individual, but it is still more real in LD’s
