I have just started to try doing LD and recently ive been fealing like i want to sleep all day and dont want to do anything else but have a lucid dream. I havent had on yet… and i dont know if this is normal?
Well I had something similar. I just really wanted to have a lucid dream and all I did really was wait for night to come so I could sleep and try to ld. I actually almost had one this morning!! Woo.
So yeah, it’s normal, I’d say.
Yes, it is normal. Don’t worry, it will pass with time. When You will have a new LD it will probably happen again, but it will decrease faster and faster every time. Just have patience, and don’t be too anxious. It will cause you to not have such dreams.
I agree with Twilight btw this happens to me also from time to time XD (Yihaaaa i broke my dryspell )

I had the exact same thing when I first heard about lucid dreaming I just waited for it to be night and then I’d try to have a lucid dream (like really hard) - And then, one day I simply decided it wasn’t going to work so I just fell asleep without doing anything, and guess what - I had a lucid dream
Brainstorming do work ^^
Just try not to think of lucid dreaming as such a huge thing - See it as an addon to your regular night-adventures
Cause in the beginning I did not think of anything but lucid dreaming I was just too amazed. These days I don’t really think of it that much, I’m like just looking forward going to bed and have a lucid dream But it’s not like I’m constantly wishing for the day to pass so I can sleep.
So basically: IT IS NORMAL.
hmm i want to not be excited so i can let it happen…but i just cant stop being excited…
If your tired then go to sleep. But don’t get too excited or you might not have a LD. If you think you want it so much perhaps just take a break from it. I did that for a couple of months
That happened to me too. But all that extra excitement will help you get lucid (your waking thoughts reflect your dreaming thoughts). If you ever get unmotivated just look up some dream journals. As you get better it will seem less significant.
