is WILD supposed to hurt?

I just started coming to this site, and the other night i tried to WILD. It felt really cool at first, i was really relaxed and it sort of felt like i was spinning slowly. Then my legs went numb and i couldn’t feel them. Then my entire body started hurting really bad. it felt like i was being crushed all over from every direction. I made myself get up and i almost threw up. Is it supposed to hurt like that?

Maybe something went wrong. I successfully used WILD tonight and the worst I felt was like when some limb falls asleep, but extended to my whole body. If it keeps going on this way, try to visualize (and thus start a dream) as soon as possible.

Hi thedeadgopher, welcome to the forum!

WILD isn’t supposed to hurt, no. I think it was an accidental occurance. You normally WILD every night, but not conscious, it’s not different from normally falling asleep. Perhaps you were a bit tense, or then again it might have been something else randomly causing a bit of pain. Try again if you like, most likely no pain will occur. If it does, quit doing WILD … good luck!

Maybe Xetrov is right, you may have been tense and possibly have gotten a bodily cramp

No, it is not normal to feel pain when doing WILD. I have never experienced this, so I am not positive on the cure. The best I can suggest is that you get good and relaxed before you start doing WILD.

Feeling pressure on parts of your body is common, but it usually is not painful. You just have to ignore this and let go of more of your consciousness and it will pass.

I hope you try again because it sounds like you were close.
