If some people want to beleive that life is just an endless stream of sh**, a monotonous tone with some blips that give us happiness, but generally lean back into monotony and that theres nothing else to life thats your opinion, but don’t call it “reason” it’s not reason. Whos to say your right? Hundreds of years of politican’s and high up figures making you think so? Let us beleive that there is some other meaning to it, let us have that… although I can’t remember what the hell I did on that date lol xD

(+ I’m not saying that religiously, i don’t believe in “a god”)

And if theres one thing scientists should learn is to not discard something completely, they THOUGHT darwin’s theory was wrong, until it was proven years later, you could be doing the exact same thing right here, right now… Nothing is ever proven wrong or impossible, that’s just your imaginations limit.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6del … s_theorems points out the meaning of what dragon’s said if i understand him and goedel correctly.
“A system cannot be correct and complete at the same time”
Basically you cannot prove something done within a reality if you’re testing it within the reality to be tested, you have to see it from a different point of view.
Like, if i said “blablabla”, of course i’d say that i had said it, but it couldn’t be proved unless someone else heard me.
Another one: 2+2 is 4 in mathematics, but you cannot truly prove it without using math, therefore you cannot know if it is in fact the value 4.
third one: you’re sitting on a moving train and you throw a ball up and it falls down, of course you say that it just moved vertically, this is true to inside system. But outside the system there’s a system which your system is part of, from a person in this system’s view, the ball moved diagonally and therefore anything you said about what happens in the train would in reality be false.
So you cannot prove that anything is true or exists without seeing it from outside the system called “the universe”.

So…? Did something really significant happen to all believers of 2012 reality shift, or not??

This has always seemed a rather pointless debate to me.

When you say “science proves nothing”, you are also “looking at the world from the confines of their own world outlook.”

So, yes, we all have our own outlook on life. Some ideas seem to work better or more reliably than others. For example, the idea of gravity. Some people don’t believe in gravity. Of course, they’re not always willing to jump off a cliff and see what happens.
