Just a tip that works for me.

Alright, I’d like to start by saying I have NEVER had a great LD before. The closest ive come to one lasted for like 5 seconds. Anyway, if youre having trouble remembering your dreams, this is what works for me. Sleep in a different place. Whenever I sleep in a different bed, I always end up remembering my dreams vividly. Try it! It might work for you.

Just wondering… how many beds do you own? :eh: I couldn’t do it…I love my bed…it’s my favorite place in the whole world :content:

Lol, well I meant that this has worked for me when I’ve slept at a friends house.

btw, i have 5 beds in my house.

Ill have to try that, It might allso work if you sleep with your head at the foot of the bed every once in a while. Thanks for the advice.

I noticed that too.

Couldn’t sleep in other beds, they’re all occupied.

I think I’ll try switching positions though, maybe even switch sides and see if that works.

Thanks

I find that when I sleep a different bed I don’t remember any of my dreams.
But that’s just me.

I’ve read about sleeping somewhere else working very well for this…but it doesn’t work for me. I usually have poor dream recall, sometimes recall no dreams at all when sleeping in another location.

Hmmm, I don’t find that to be true personally. Usually if I’m on holiday or living in a new place my recall gets slightly worse for a time. After I’ve been sleeping in the new place for a while it becomes better again, but only in the long term.

yeah I did notice that! it does work, from my experience… And it seems that the more I change sleeping places the more lucid I get too

(I live in Mina but go in week days to univ in Beirut and sleep there,… and even there I sometimes sleep on the bed and other times on the sofa, coz changing sleeping places helps me with insomnia)

All I have to do is clear my head and think about dreams before I go to sleep…

Sleeping in different beds gives me realllllly different types of dreams, like whenever I stay at my friends house I get really dark gothic themed dreams :eh:

I noticed it too.
I would even say that considering this fact, I had a period during which I moved my bed in my room each couple of days, so that I could try to feel as if I was sleeping somewhere else.
It may also be funny when you wake up. “uh where am I?”

Has the magnetic field something to do with that, or would it be related to the sensory environnement change ?

I think that when your sleep environment changes, you’re more aware and thus you are more likely to be lucid. For instance, when cows are sleeping in a field, they are on their guard and they wake up every 15 minutes (if I’m not wrong). But when they sleep in a cowshed, they sleep for 8 hours, like we are.
