moved from beyond

this happened a few years ago but has happened a few times since but none as odd or as long as the first one. i was laying in my bed watching tv in what i thought was real life, i’m sure it was at this time. I heard the phone ring and my brother came in and handed me the phone and he left. some girls from my history class called me who i was doing a project with. i got done talking and put the phone on my hamper and turned back to watch tv. i then thought i will take the phone back at the next commercial and i looked over and the phone wasn’t there. i asked my brother if someone just called and he said no, and the phone was in its charging place. this part in my life seemed to just keep going with normal life, i didn’t wake up or anything i just continued living. i do not understand what happed here and was wondering about this?

Sounds like you fell asleep and had a false awakening, albeit without the waking up part :tongue:.

The sound of the TV likely helped the dream take on the events on real life and the phone was either purely a creation of the mind or caused by a sound in the program/film.

Same happened to me, in a number of occassions.

I think it means just that you want to do it, and that you think you should.

If any of you was ever lying in bed thirsty, and imagined themselves going up and taking a cup of water, after which you suddenly realized you were in bed, this is it.
