LD questions :P

hey i had some questions that were bugging me , i dont have the answers and i know none of you will, but i think it will be cool to see what you think so here goes

1)can you LD whilst in a coma ?
2)do people who were born blind dream?
•if so can they LD ?
3)do you think it is possible to clearly forget about a LD?

here are my answers
1)some people say that they have dreamed in comas even though no one has seen a coma patient REM but i think it would be possible (not to mention the possiblity of super long LD 's )
2)i dont think the know what vision looks like so maybe they dream sounds feelings and smells but they cant materialize a visual plane
• and so without that visual plane its almost impossible to RC since
i cant think of impossible sounds because dreams are a projection of
what you have experienced combined in a conglomeration, therefor
impossible sounds feelings and tastes are not impossible. even if
they were impossible there are no RC’s for feelings/sounds/smells
3)yes

i want to see what you guys think, if you have weird Q’s too i would like to see them

j

  1. Dunno, probably not.
  2. Yes, they experience dreams just like they experience the real world. Blind, but with all the remaining senses.
  3. Sure, it’s still a dream and your brain forgets those easily if you don’t wake up directly after it or don’t write them down.
  1. Some coma patient report having dreamt, a part of them for a long time, while they were asleep, so if you can dream, you can LD no doubt :content:

  2. Even if they can’t see, they still have a good idea of space like any of us has, and they live their dreams by night the same way they live life by day, even if both are probably very different to how we do it. Nonetheless, sensory experience is still there, that they interpret like any other, into a situation, a scene, that can make them still question reality if strange stuff starts happening around. Plus they can nose RC like any other

  3. It’s very possible, yes, considering how certain LD’s can be remembered after you’ve been awake for several hours, and thus there was the possibility that dream could have been missed entirely. But that’s nothing to be happy about

  1. I don’t know
  2. Yes, they just don’t see in their dreams, but they can hear, smell, taste, and touch, so therefore, they can lucid dream. It wouldn’t be impossible to reality check, because they can still hold their nose fine weather or not they’re blind.
  3. Of course, that’s one of the reasons I practice dream recall.
  1. Maybe not the way we define as dream (REM)

  2. even though they cannot see IRL (who knows if they can see in a dream, its a dream after all  ) they still dream

  3. it is possible

1)can you LD whilst in a coma ?

I’ve never heard of it. I wouldn’t want to be the subject in such an experiment though.

2)do people who were born blind dream?

Yes, they do. They’re blind in their dreams too. However, if they’re born with sight but then lose it, they continue to see in their dreams.

•if so can they LD ?

I don’t know why not.

3)do you think it is possible to clearly forget about a LD?

I’ve had LDs that I didn’t remember until a day or two later. So I’m sure I’ve forgotten about some of them.
