I have been thinking a lot recently about the existance of our dreams and those things within the dream. Where these entities come from, what they think, and the time frame that they live on.
Also, recently, I have been thinking a lot about the 4th dimention. This is a place where the infinet big would be related to the infinet small, or equall to it. Everything here would be a shadow of what was there. A sound would be an ecoe, and even light would be nothing more than a shadow. However, we as humans are just short of conceving it. And if you did, we would be omnicent and possible outside of time.
I thought about this and thought about how, in some dreams, DCs can seem to know more than we seem to. I wonder if we can preceve the 4th dim. more when we LD. WE contact things seemingly wiser than us, such as spirit guides. I am not going so far as to say we can conseve this different plain. What I am asking is that when we LD, or have OBEs, are we possible stepping a peak into this Dimention that we cannot quite live in? Any thougths on anything related to this or just a desire to BS about the 4th dim. Please Reply!
Maybe our minds are the equivalent of a physical body in the 3rd dimension, but in the 4th dimension? Heh just a thought outta nowhere that one.
Ive heard theories about the 4th dimension, one of them that i remember being that, well okay, here it is.
Think of your arm. Okay, you can move it left, or right, or up/down, or not at all. This movement or lack thereof in this dimension (our normal reality) is limited to one action of all the possibility. Now the idea goes, if you havent figured out already, is that it includes all possibility, the fourth dimension. (though it may be fifth, considering many physicists state time as being the fourth dimension) So here i’ll just state this as a ‘higher plane’. So anyways, in this higher plane, your arm is going all directions as well as remaining completely still. At the same time, the possibility your arm is still attached to your body is coupled with the possibility that you lost it in some accident awhile back. All this possibility and all the branches of possibility off of each possibility, none of them manifest, and yet all of them still existent in a way. Weird i kno

i’m gonna go ahead and say “yes” to that question… personally i think OBEs are a step into another “dimension” if you will, but just to present another idea that i’m sure i stole from someone somewhere on the forum:
in WL our brains are simulating our environment based on the information it is receiving from the senses… right now my brain is simulating this computer monitor in front of me and the sound of the air condition in the background, and the feel of the keys on the keyboard underneath my fingers. but the brain is simply working with the best tools it has
i can’t for instance pick up infrared or ultra violet, but those things exist in my environment, i just can’t perceive them. the brain is just making it’s best guess of what my environment is based on the information given to it.
perhaps say when we meet a SG in an LD (i have yet to do that but i would want to). perhaps that SG isn’t really the man/woman/animal we see, but based on however SGs communicate… our mind just made another educated guess with this new information it’s sensing and presented us with the image of a man/woman/animal
actually i don’t know if that theory really goes against the idea of a fourth dimension, i can see how the two could be synthesized, but all this is blowing my mind, so i’m gonna take a rest and wait for it to catch up 
we got our 3 basic dimensions:
width, height, and depth, right?
the 4th dimension thus would be:
time.
many people reach a state of timelessness in meditation and
thus can transcend the first four dimensions [easily].
the 5th dimension is according to reddwarf s2e06:
parallel universes, which i think the dreamworld is definately
one.
