I have been going out and drinking heavily the past few weeks, every time I take a few B6 vitamins before I go out, and I have been having LDs everytime the next morning (usually sat or sun morning), anyways last nite I didn’t take any B6 vitamins and I drank alot and slept in an extra 4 hours (till 12 noon) and had the LONGEST ld I have ever had, it was awsome, i coulnd’t believe what had happened. I dunno if its the alcohol or the extra sleep but its one of the two, not the B6 vitamins, and when I have slept in without drinking the night before I havent had any LDs, why would this be, what does alcohol do to your brain exactly?
i had a lucid dream the morning after a day’s drinking (it was a wedding, so spent most of the day eating and drinking) and had my first (and so far, only) lucid dream the following morning.
I’ve found the opposite results, in fact when I drink or do any sort of drugs I cannot even recall my dreams upon waking up. I’ve since given up the drugs… It was only pot ok?! get off my case. But yeh I’ve never had a lucid dream the night after drinking. In fact, I wont drink a single beer during the week because I know it will affect my dreaming. And if I do for some reason drink (like poker night) it’s almost like a sacrifice of dreaming for me.
