For all the experienced LDers here. How much impact your Lucid dream experiences had on your waking life? For instance, One of my friend who is a lucid dreamer said to me that his clairvoyant ability have increased, i.e, ability to see energy forms and auras, so he said to me he sees ghosts IRL. I dont know whether it is true. Also some people says it improved their intuition. Is your life the same after LD?
P.S: I am happy with my life now and also wanted to achieve LD more often to improve quality of my life, but i still have the small fear that LD may change the way i see the world and increase in psychic abilities may interfere in my RL, i.e, i am afraid of dark and when i am alone walking in dark, and i happen to see ghosts or hear voices, i may say ‘Hey, its Damn freaking’
I’m not experienced lucid dreamer but I can say that it changed my life. Not in some major way but the little things. I mean I’m not so limited on physical life like I was, although I keep more attention on physical life.
It’s strange link between those 2 worldviews. Being in a lucid dream taught me the importance of observation and feeling the place. My “view” is much wider then it was. I put a lot more time in my being in my existence. I’m not just here like a passenger or traveler. I’m not taking things for granted any more. Now I feel more like I do exist then I felt before.
Yesterday my father asked me: If I have my own place under the Sun. And my answer is was: Not yet. I feel very good about that answer because I’m still in searching for my own path and lucid dreaming is just one of the turnings…
Also I feel like there is much more to it then just what I described…
I would say Lucid Dreaming has helped me realize the details in RL, it has made me look around and notice things i would have never seen before. Its made me realize the complexity and awesome power of God and the world around us.
Not experienced either but lucid dreaming has enabled me to actually appreciate the world around me. It’s an especially good place to “escape” to during times where you may feel stressed out from all the work that you have to do in your studies/job/whatever. Lucid dreaming has helped me cope with such situations in the past.
It’s changed a lot for me. Before I knew about it, I didn’t really have too many interests (and I still don’t). But after finding out about it and learning how to do it, I became a lot more open than I normally was. I still am pretty closed but I’m not as afraid any more to talk about things. And one of the things that I discuss and open up to people about is dreaming and lucid dreaming. I have a lucid dreaming book and I have let my friends borrow that numerous times so I guess you can also say it has strengthened and made friendships. It’s also made my wildest dreams come true in times where I have felt all hope was lost. Lucid dreams affect me in many ways today and will probably continue to do so for many years to come.
