linear time error???

my recollection of the LD is confusing because it doesn’t match with linear time events.

part 1
i just remember starting from where i became lucid through MILD (works best for me). I got established in the LD.

part 2
then i immedietely decided to try to find my mom to try to help her become lucid. I thought a door will appear that will take me to her. I then decided to look around to see where i wanted the door to be specifically and as i looked it was already there. I opened it and it was a house i did not recognize and that confused me and i started waking a bit. i went to rub my dream hands but ended up rubbing my physical ones and it woke me up.

I remember part 3 as happening as a part of the same LD but since part 1 was immedietely followed by part 2, i cant see how it is possible bc part 2 woke me.

part 3
i remember walking around outside looking at my hands and rubbed them together paying attention to the senstation. as i did that i noticed that sound started entering the dream so i spoke my thoughts out loud to help that sense and it started very muted and gargled but got clearer. I got impatient, took a couple running steps, and leaped into the air for a Superman flight. i kept going higher and higher. the clarity was amazing! i decided to go to space but hit a height limit a few hundred feet in the air. i should have taken more time getting established, oh well. i landed and there was some robot/person there. i decided to have a Xmen-like battle (hostility free) and i started making fire (though it looked more like gold shimmering light) shoot from my hands at it. i always wanted to try that. i picked up a car and threw it at the robot and pinned it down.

has anyone experienced issues with linear time events like this that are impossible and baffling to the waking mind… or am i just having issues with recall (which i find hard because this was one of the most vivd LD i have had).

that is a common sign of dreams that they are not always logical neither in time nor in any other aspect… i guess you had a false awakenig …Greetz /me

It is possible that you had a second LD in which you did the third part. I sometimes have a dream later in the night where I re-experience part of an earlier dream. May be the second LD started off with poor recall and thus the confusion?

Sakoda: i think you are right… when i thought i moved my physical hands i believe that was a FA which would explain why the part 3 of the LD seemed like it was part of the first 2 parts… it was a part, i never woke up! i went back to “sleep” in my FA.

i had a feeling there was symoblism in the FA keeping me from going down the hallway to my mother… do people often find that dream symbols can continue into a LD like that?
