Yesterday I redid a song from an old Nintendo game, Faxanadu. I used my acoustic guitar and a midi bassline… I think it sounds pretty cool.
Please give it a listen and tell me what you think. (if you’ve never played, you can download the original song to compare)

It sounds really good. Great job! very accurate sounding.
wow, it makes me want to play this game I never heard of before. Looks like an RPG and Zelda is my favorite game of all time. Although, I’m not interested in most other RPGs.
Thanks man!
Yeah, it really is a good game. It’s sort of a sidescrolling RPG, so in that sense, it’s about as close to the “simple RPG” style of Zelda as you can get! The music in the game is great the whole way through… if you’re into that kind of thing I suppose.
It is a VERY difficult game though. And it’s hilarious at the end because you go on this impossibly hard quest to kill some dragon monster that’s messing the whole world up and then all you get for an ending is this jackass king telling you, “uh… yeah, thanks man. 'preciate you killing that dragon and all…” THE END
