Listening to Music Stops ND's/LD's?

Well, I love listening to music when I got to bed. I do not know why… it helps me sleep, I enjoy it. But, I notice that I never have dreams anymore because of it. I have not had a dream that i can remember for months. I am not sure how to jump back onto the LD wagon, since I’m not having dreams.

Is it the radio? Or do you have headphones/earbuds? I listen to the radio every night so i can sleep. I need sound to go to sleep its hard for me to go to sleep without sound for some reason

(Put a sleep timer on your music if you don’t already)

But i’m pretty sure everyone has dreams every night they sleep at least 8 hours. Maybe it’s your dream recall

External noise had killed my recall too on occasion, especially music. I just woke up the next day with absolutely no clue of what I had done. So I decided to stop that
Your mind should be somewhat focused on dreams before dozing off if you want to remember them, so at least put on some dream-related music  or put the whole thing off, your thoughts have often a lot more to say to you than songs.

Dang. I need to stop then? cause i need sound to go to sleep

Well, it depends on how much you recall. If there’s recall problems, then there’s probably a relevant distraction either when going to sleep, or when waking up, and if you want to improve it, then you would need to get rid of those somehow. But if your recall is fine, then no problem

Well some nights i don’t remember any of my dreams so i need to stop then

Well, you can try to sleep without music one or two nights and see what the results are in terms od falling asleep and recall, then you chose if you’d like to stop

Sounds good!!! I’m going to start tonight
