Living out your dreams...in a Lucid dream =P

It seems as thought everyone wants to do things that are impossible IRL in LD’s

But what i want to know is:
Does anyone live their dream lifes out in LD’s?

example, take an exotic vacation to hawaii or something and get a full spa treatment and dine at expensive restaurants or travel to different countries and explore the culture. or meeting your favorite celebrites.

once i get an LD i would very much like to do the things that i want first but then once in a while take a “lucid vacation”

That sounds fun, but most people would rather do the sort of things you can’t do at all in real life.

lol. I use lds to find the TRUTH and you talking about spa xD
off cource I lost couple of my ld on sex, but no more

Theres far more better things to do in a LD than visiting a spa. as you are living by the rules of the astrals, physically everything is possible, therefore a vacation you could never have in real life is possible, for example, bathing in a natural spring with tigers and giraffes while followed by flying over the ocean and swimming with the mermaids, I guarantee you, when you will have a LD, going to the spa wont looking so appealing as it does at the moment.
imagine a world where physical barriers no longer exist, where everything you can dream of instantly transforming into a reality.
what then?

I think there are many things you can do in you LDs, but I don’t think we need to spend them doing things, just because we can’t do them in reality. I mean if we want to sit in a spa and seek to make it as relaxing as possible, who’s to say we won’t gain something from it.

I’m not drawn to material things so expensive hotels etc hold no drawing, I certainly wouldn’t seek that, but if I wanted to do something in a dream that I could do in reality I can’t see why I wouldn’t do it. It would probably have a twist that wasn’t possible in real life though.

Ive allways wanted to get a massage in a LD, I bet it would feel like heaven.

I agree dragon, thats not what I meant.
I was just saying that the whole perspective idharma regarding LDs is likewise simply because he did not have one, therefore he is dreaming about “going to the spa” because he doesnt realize the world he will enter when LDing, Im not saying you should always look for the truth or whatever in LDs, im just saying things will look different to him after hell have one.
Many times when I LD I just sit on the beach enjoying the most beautiful harmonious sea.

that sounds like a pretty good idea. im gonna try that soon like going skydiving in japan :puh:

i always wanted to jump from a 50ft building in LD to see what it felt like to be going down

try skydiving in real life —> greatest rush

oh i bet i have always wanted to try it. but if i did it in an LD i wouldnt even need a plane i could fly up there myself!

Ive always wondered if you jumped off a building in an LD if it would wake you up before you hit the bottom, like it normally does in ND’s.
For me it does anyway.
But yeahh id love it

Also… if you dont have much control in your LDs, for example are new to the whole scene, what stops the dream from going weird and wacky and changing itself ?
For example your having a massage and all of a sudden your in a pit of snakes? I know its extreme but, im sure you know what im getting at. Things change on their own if you dont have enough control.

It`s really stupid for me to waist your lds for making things, than you can get in RL ;]
fascinating for me is stay in front of doors, say " get me somewhere far away " ;] and every time getting some new, fantastic experiences.

Please remember to respect what others choose to do in their dreams. :dragon:

@Viscount - LOL. :lol:

@player07 - I dont know, some things you can do in RL, for example going on a luxury yacht, releasing an album etc you would never be able to do if you didnt have enough money.
Or something like go crazy at school. You could do all of these in RL but consequences would probably stop you, thats what LDs are for. So i dont completely agree that only impossible things in RL are the only interesting thing to do in a LD.

How about visualize and see yourself having the life that you COULD have (that is in your LD’s, but as a kind of practice).

Someone here replied about skydiving saying if he did it in a LD he wont in real life.
in LD, you cant have get the adrenaline you get in RL. If youre a fan of Adrenaline, I really strongly suggest to try skydiving, Im actually thinking about taking a course if and when Ill have the money it takes. Really, the rush can not be comprehended until you do it.

As to all of this debate,
in my opinion, the thing is you can’t really do in a LD what you do in RL, if you want to take that massage, when you’ll get it in the LD itll turn up to be something much much more complex than that. So nothing is not worth doing in a dream, I believe one should do what he feels like doing, that will probably get the best results always
Remember, your SC is running things and creating the atmosphere so it cant be boring as normal conscious thoughts, it will always those great kicks that leaves you puzzled and thinking.
About fuaburisus posts, that is a very nice exercise in my opinion, I did it a few times although I believe doing this exercise in a semi hypnagogic/full hypnagogic state is much better.
