Ok the thing is that I’m playing minecraft for a week now and I’m very into it. I’ve noticed that when I’m falling asleep I’m just thinking about minecraft and things I’ll do next day. [maybe the word obsessed would describe my situation]
Those who know about minecraft they know that is a game where you need to think and use logic a lot. So I think that this game “moved” my logic or better say bring logic to a higher level.
Last night I had 4 lucid dreams which were DILD and there was a pure logical conclusion that this was a dream, just like that. I never before had that kind of simple and pure logical conclusion.
Usually I’m not very good with DILD, I rely more on WILD or RCILD and I’m in very bad position with DR and LD in general so that must be due to logical game, I hope.
just started getting addicted (yet again) to minecraft this week… (best game eva) but i certainly hope Minecraft will help increase my lucidity i would call that a win-win situation My logic in dreams is always terrible… typical dream logic---- -“WOAH! a flying elephant, i should seriously purchase one of those at a supermarket! yadadada dream carries on…”-__-
Hmm, I’ve never heard of minecraft doing this. I have a similar situation, but it’s only because I play copious amounts of scary video-games and watch tons of commentaries on scary video games I can’t play on my PC, like amnesia or the last two games from the penumbra series. (mostly from morfar or pewdiepie)
If I ever get a nightmare coming on (which is incredibly rare, surprisingly) I know that it’s a dream, and the dream changes completely.
I think I might look into this, see if I can’t come up with something similar to help induce dreams. (maybe a console application forcing you to use logic and reason to solve puzzles?)
Anything that will activate the part of the brain that’s responsible for logic can work. Some dreamers do math when they do WBTB so I guess everything could work…
