Good luck with your job seeking. The funny thing is, my aunt from california said that she’d help me hook up with companies or even hire me for her company when I’m able to move to california! 
So I might move to california after all. I’ll see… first I have to finish school though. 
Instead of California, Try North Carolina, You have the best of everything there, you have beach, and mountains, and lots, and lots of forrest, and country inbetween The North Carolina mt are very bueatyfull. I think it would be more spiritual then California. California has allways freaked me out, it never sleeps. Hollywood, personally I dont even want to visit the place.

Believe me if you ever move to California I find a way to come out to visit. I was reading in another thread where you were talking about going to school over here. Is that still a possibility for you. A student visa would be the easiest to get and would also allow you to work. You could go to school part time and work part time. Once you are here it will be easier for you to find a job.
well as I’m married I don’t know if we can go together if only I have a student visa. Also I believe when you have a student visa you aren’t allowed to work, only study 
right now for me the way to go as I see it is get hired by an employer and then the rest will fall into place.

I have worked in the usa last year. I participated in an internship program. The company(Sun) working along with the CIEE(Council on International Education Exchange) helped me to apply for a J-1 Visa. If you are married this visa would also have allowed you to take your spouse along to the USA.
Go to www.ciee.org and take a look… it might help…

If you want a town thats close to the city and beach you might want to look into a town called Thousand Oaks or half moon bay. been to both very nice towns wouldnt mind living there.

I am fairly sure you can work on a student visa. I knew people who were here on a student visa and worked. I’ll have to look into that one. It does make sense though. If you are going to school here you would have to have a way to pay for school, place to live, clothing etc.

for me, as i’m 31 years old i’m too old for an internship… I’m also sure there is a job for me over there. - but it’s good to know that on a student visa my spouse is allowed in as well
i have printed some information on visas and such but there are soo many visa’s one can apply for! - so i have to find out which one i need.
milod: what did you mean then? – also i want to have a well paid job so i can pay for everything - if i want to study in the USA i have to save a lot of money, the study alone is very expensive, let alone the housing etc.

I am just shocked at how hard it has become for people from Europe to move here to the US. Is the same true for the reverse? I mean we are all allies (not just in war)so, it should be easy for people to move either way.
