Lucid, but not long-lived

Ok, so my last 2 or 3 lucid dreams only lasted about a min or two. This is somewhat troubling, I even did some warm ups, hand rubs, tornado spin, and shouting. But I wake up shortly after anyway.

The first it was like 30 seconds after, the next was immediately after doing an RC, and the third one was right after doing a spin/shout. Can I get some help/words of wisdom from more advanced LDers?

well, i’m not more experienced that you, but… i’m experienced in this sense xD
i remember my first LDs all ended too soon. but after a while they just stopped. after like 2-3 dreams they became stable by themselves. my last one blacked out too, but just became a ND, didn’t wake me up.

i’ve read nice things on this though. some say that it’s really good to undress in your dreams :smile: apparently you ‘claim’ it’s your dream and you can do what you want, also you get connected with your dream body.
another trick is to grab some object of the dreamscape when it’s fading. it’s supposed to keep you in the dream.

i remember that when my dreams first faded out i used to always panic when this happened. i tried spinning - didn’t help a bit. but somehow when i stopped worrying, and just stopped trying - my first really stable LD came on its own. i walked around and nothing happened, no blackouts. maybe you’re worrying under the surface and that’s what makes it fall apart.

oh yes, almost forgot. plan and set a goal for your dream. last time i kept lucidity as long as the goal was unfinished. when i finished it, it became a ND. so maybe if you set a goal, you’ll be able to stay inside.
