This is pretty simple: Once you are lucid, use autosuggestion to convince yourself you will remember your dream. Each time I do this, my LD’s are remembered in full and very vividly. I failed to do this one time, and that time, I got hazy snipits of the dream.
But when do you know it’s time to tell yourself to remember the dream? Or just telling yourself at any point of the dream will work?
This does help, I’ve done it a few times while LDing. Usually at the beginning and end of a good LD. I tell myself “This is great I must wake up and write it down right away” and I do
I usually tell myself that I will remember it at the very beginning of the dream, right after I become lucid.
That sounds like a great idea! Now all I need is to become lucid in the first place…
The best place to start is a dream journal and memorizing your dreamsigns. At least in my experience.
Well, of course! I already have one and my dream recall has improved significantly!:w00t: I’ve only had a couple of lucid dreams in total, niether were long enough to achieve anything great… I’ll just have to keep trying different induction techniques.
i’ve only had one LD but a good way to sustain Lucidicty is to rub your hands and say to yourself increase lucidness, increase lucidness
i eventually got used to writeing down my dreams as soon as i wake up. if i dont i just forget
