Mods, please move this if this is in the wrong spot.
Anyway, one of the coolest things happened to me today. I was at my grandma’s house, just hanging out (she lives right down the street), and she saw me posting on ld4all. She asked what i was doing, and i explained what a forum is, and what lucid dreaming is. I then aksed her if she had ever expereinced an involutnary lucid dream. I expected her to ask if i was on drugs, but instead she gave me the coolest response!
She says this “No way, that is lucid dreaming? I just had My first and only lucid dream just yesterday.” She then explained the lucid dream she had.
i also had a lucid dream yesterday as you can see in my DJ. Is it a coincidence that i had a lucid dream the same night my grandma had her one and only lucid dream in her life, and the fact that the very next day she found out about lucid dreaming for the first time!??!
I’ve a funny story of synchronicity too. A friend of mine practised lucid dreaming but he became afraid cause he believed some frightening DC’s were “real” (he believed in astral and entities). Thus he stopped LD’ing for 3 years.
I found this sad, yet I couldn’t do anything. One night, I became lucid cause I dreamt he was in my bedroom and he woke me. In this LD, he asked me to go with him to Paris, then we entertwined (crossed? sp.?) our arms together and sort of teleported.
I was so surprised by this dream that I wondered if it wasn’t a SD. But I believed it was impossible cause he did no more practice LD. Anyways, I phoned him and he told me that this very night, he tried for the first time in 3 years to have a LD! But he reached the SP with vibrations and he couldn’t go further.
Synchronicity is a notion which has been invented by the Swiss psychologist/psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung, in order to describe numerous significative coincidences.
