I think this time I had my very first lucid dream. or nearly one, since I woke up too quickly.
I done a few things before I slept: first I tried doing some MILD, and then WILD.
Didnt work, at all. but then I woke up like 6 am, so I wrote the dream I was having on my dream diary and then realised it was till pretty early and I had slept 1 am last night. then I thought about WBTB, lol. so I started browing the big shared dream topic, which is pretty cool btw. then I went to sleep with my pocket watch at my hand, thinking of some lucid dream stuff while trying WILD, yes. I was pretty serious about it, LOL.
but then as soon as the dream started it was something like this:
I was walking up the ramp to my school, so I met Rebecca and her friend, Jessica.
I started going to the room 7 and then suddenly I thought “oh wait, wasnt I sleeping?”… I should do some reality check! And at the same time I realised I had my watch at my hand, so I looked at my watch, it had 3 pointers, so I was like, hey, if this is a dream I can remove one! and it worked. somethink kind of flew through my belly to my head, I was lucid! but then everything started distorting, so I started spinning, and then when I stopped I had already woke up and it was 8am. prolly my REM cicle was over…
but doesnt really matter. I had a damn lucid dream, and I still remember it as clear as the day
Doesn’t it feel fantastic, being able to remember it so clearly?
I remember my first “lucid dream”, it only lasted a few seconds, but the feeling is something I’ll never forget. Once I woke up, and remembered the dream so clearly, it almost seemed as if I was waking up from a separate consciousness.
that it is. :F
damn i’m so hyped now, I thought i’d never say this but… i’m somewhat eager to sleep. LOL
anyways, on the next i’ll definetely fly around like a boss ‘–’
Nice, you actually reminded me of a technique I could use myself and of Samuel L. Jackson! i’m going to try:
Multiple techniques!
happy to… uhm… help? lol
when I thought of that I was like:
whatever works~
anyways, i’ll try doing other stuff like SILD and so :B
Instead of spinning, try rubbing your hands together or touching your surroundings next time when the dream starts to fade after becoming lucid.
Those two things worked a lot better for me when my dreams start to fade, while I have not yet had the spinning technique work.
thats what I thought, they said I wouldnt feel dizzy, but somehow I did.
I guess it must have failed there. I’ll try the rubbing hands tech next time.
and thank you all for your replies
