Memory of low LD's

If you have had a low LD, are you always sure afterwards that it was indeed a LD?
So, is it possible that you have a low LD but that you afterwards IWL doubt that it really was one? Or are you always sure?
I was wondering about that…

There could be confusion if you dreamt about lucid dreaming.

You can also be unsure becuse of bad DR. It is also possable to have LD’s and not know it because you forget the dream.
If you have good DR, then you normaly remember your LD’s because they are so much different then your ND’s.
In general doubt about LD’s comes more from not realy knowing what an LD is. Many people confuse control with lucidness. A lucid dream is a dream in which you know that you are dreaming. Dream control just makes it better.

So is it the case that if you do remember your LD, that the memory of that LD is worse if your DR is worse (so that you do not remember it as clearly as you would with better DR), and thus start doubting more about whether or not it was a LD?

Yes, if you look in the dream diary fourm, there are lots of comments that people forgot to write down their dream at night, and the next morning all that they can remember is that they had an LD, or a dream that might have been an LD, or one that they really wanted to remember. There are also lots of comments about dreams being so fuzzy that they can’t remember how long or if they were lucid.
ON the other hand, LD recall is offten beter then ND recall because you get so excited that you just had an LD.
